Gonna!

Today I was being a good little freshman and participating in Rush activities for frats (specifically, Zeta Psi). What did that entail? Spending an entire day at Six Flags, free of charge, that's what it entailed! After a day full of roller coasters, food, and lines, we got in line for one of our final rides: White Water Rafting! As we stood in line we saw a sign that dutifully warned us about the prospects of getting wet. The problem? The grammar was horrifically bad. Luckily, we weren't the first to notice and it has been fixed by "vandals", but it's still possible to tell what the sign said originally.

What's a "Gonna" and why is it get soaked?

Oh, for crying out loud. Have they no spell-checkers at the Six Flags' sign-maker?! I am appalled!

(My junior year English teacher would probably keel over if she saw this while waiting in line.)

You spelled "grammar" wrong.

lol Someone beat me to the "grammar" comment. Sad. Anyway, that's horrendous! Good thing someone hacked it. =)

It almost looks as though a "Conna" is going to get soaked. Oh, silly Six Flags =)

Once, I was assigned to "Sweet 33" in a hotel...

Oh yes,and thats just America! You wouldnt believe the English they have here in Japan! For example: Collon Cream Candy, thats right, Collon Cream. Now if that tastes like it sounds.....another popular brand of water is called Pocari Sweat, and for some reason they dont have commas on their keyboards, so even I have horrible grammar. Well, glad to see your having a blast at MIT. Now you officially have a reader in Japan!
