Ever Google yourself and get really surprised by what you find? That happened to me today. I googled "Snively" and found out that I had been featured on the Ig Nobel website back in January. Go figure!

ReplyDeleteWhen I googled myself, I found that I share names with a basketball player from florida, a botanical engineer (whatever that is...sounds like euphemism for gardener), an acoustic singer, and a man with a PhD in Applied Chemistry and a mustache. Yup, seems I'm bound for greatness.

ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that I found you!! I tried to search for you on the MIT website after I met you, but I didn't remember your name, so... it was pretty difficult.
Remember taking a tour of MIT on November 10? And how a middle-aged man with partially gray hair started asking you questions about MIT as if he had applied there? And his daughter, who actually had applied there? That would be me... I got in!
After reading bits of your blog, I'm really quite astounded I got in. I plan to read a lot more of your blog so I can get a better feel for what MIT is like. Obviously I'm going to come visit the campus & sleepover.
But, I basically just wanted to get in touch with you and say thank you for being our personal-tour guide that day.
